Head lice removal at home in the Bronx
We come to you with combs, lamps, and everything else the visit needs. Most families are done in a single appointment, with a free recheck within ten days.

Same-day visits are usually available — call (347) 901-5247 and we can often be there today.
A local practice
We know how lice moves through this city
Classrooms, sleepovers, camp buses. After years of home visits across the five boroughs, very little about an outbreak surprises us — and that calm tends to be contagious.
Schools and their paperwork
We've worked alongside dozens of schools and daycares over the years, so we know most re-entry policies and can send documentation the nurse will accept — often the same day as the visit.
Every kind of home
Walk-up in Astoria, brownstone in Park Slope, high-rise in Midtown — we bring everything with us, set up wherever the light is good, and leave the kitchen the way we found it.
Built around city schedules
Small apartments, long commutes, siblings on different schedules. We arrive in plain clothes, work around nap times and homework, and keep the whole thing low-key.
A small practice, on purpose
We've been making home visits since 2020, and most new families still come to us the old way — one parent telling another it worked.

What we do
Our services in the Bronx
Everything we offer is available at homes across the Bronx, usually the same day you call. Each visit starts with a careful look — from there, we do only what your family actually needs.
Lice checks
A careful, section-by-section look under good light, with a straight answer before we leave. If we find nothing, you pay for a check — not a treatment you didn't need.
- Every family member checked, not just the itchy one
- A clear yes-or-no answer on the spot
- Written documentation schools accept
Lice treatment
A methodical comb-out with stainless-steel combs — no pesticides, no harsh chemicals. Most cases are resolved in a single visit, and we come back to make sure.
- Pesticide-free, safe at any age
- Free recheck within ten days
- A simple aftercare plan for your home
School screenings
Classroom and group screenings for schools and daycares, handled quietly and at a child's pace so the day can carry on around us.
- Discreet, low-drama screening
- Clear reporting for the school nurse
- Guidance on notifying families
Prevention
Straightforward habits and products that lower the odds of a repeat — no scare tactics, just what actually works.
- A weekly comb-check routine you can keep
- Practical advice on hats, brushes, and shared spaces
- Honest talk about what not to buy
Not sure where to start? Call (347) 901-5247 and describe what you're seeing — we'll tell you honestly whether you need a visit at all, or request a call back.

Where we go in the Bronx
One Bronx day can begin in a Riverdale elevator co-op and finish at a house near Pelham Bay Park, and the two feel like different towns. In between are the apartment blocks along the Grand Concourse and the large co-op complexes east of them, which is where most of our visits happen.

Traffic is the variable, not the distance
The Deegan and the Cross Bronx decide how a Bronx day runs. That is why we give you a window rather than a time, and why we call from the road if the window starts to slip.
In the bigger complexes, send the building number
Several buildings often share one street address, and the intercom code matters more than the house number. With both in hand we are at your door instead of in the courtyard.
Houses out east
Throggs Neck, Country Club, Morris Park, and City Island are mostly one- and two-family houses with driveways. That makes the visit simpler at both ends: we park at the house, and we set up at a kitchen table with room to walk around the chair.
The list is kept short for readability. We cover the whole borough, Riverdale across to City Island. Call (347) 901-5247 to confirm a time.

What Bronx families tell us
After the school's letter went home I checked every head I could get to sit still and still wasn't sure. Having someone who does this every day take a proper look settled it.
Two hours at our kitchen table. My son sat still the whole time because she let him pick the movie.
She showed me the comb after each pass so I could see for myself when the nits stopped coming. That's what finally let me relax.

What parents tell us afterward
They came the same evening I called, checked all three kids, and only one needed treatment. No lecture, no upsell — just calm, clear help.
Our school sent my son home on a Friday. By Saturday morning he'd been treated, with paperwork the nurse accepted on Monday.
I'd already tried two drugstore kits before giving up and calling. One visit and the follow-up recheck, and we've been clear since.
