How a visit works
A typical visit takes one to two hours, depending on hair length and how many people need treatment. Here is the whole thing, start to finish.
Head checks for everyone
We start by checking each person in the household under a bright lamp, section by section. Often only one or two people actually need treatment.
The comb-out
Hair is dampened, sectioned, and worked through with a stainless-steel comb until we stop finding lice and nits. No pesticides — just method and patience. Kids can watch a show or bring a book.
Your home, briefly
Before we leave, we walk you through what to wash and what to leave alone. It is usually less housework than the internet suggests — lice do not live long off the head.
The recheck
You get written aftercare instructions and a free recheck within ten days. If school needs documentation, we provide paperwork nurses accept.
