Head lice removal at home in Staten Island

We come to you with combs, lamps, and everything else the visit needs. Most families are done in a single appointment, with clear aftercare guidance for the days that follow.

Same-day visits are usually available — call (347) 901-5247 and we can often be there today.

A local practice

We know how lice moves through this city

Classrooms, sleepovers, camp buses. After years of home visits across the five boroughs, very little about an outbreak surprises us — and that calm tends to be contagious.

Schools and their paperwork

We've worked alongside dozens of schools and daycares over the years, so we know most re-entry policies and can send documentation the nurse will accept — often the same day as the visit.

Every kind of home

Walk-up in Astoria, brownstone in Park Slope, high-rise in Midtown — we bring everything with us, set up wherever the light is good, and leave the kitchen the way we found it.

Built around city schedules

Small apartments, long commutes, siblings on different schedules. We arrive in plain clothes, work around nap times and homework, and keep the whole thing low-key.

A small practice, on purpose

We've been making home visits since 2020, and most new families still come to us the old way — one parent telling another it worked.

What we do

Our services in Staten Island

Everything we offer is available at homes across Staten Island, usually the same day you call. Each visit starts with a careful look — from there, we do only what your family actually needs.

Not sure where to start? Call (347) 901-5247 and describe what you're seeing — we'll tell you honestly whether you need a visit at all, or request a call back.

Where we go in Staten Island

Staten Island is the long haul and we plan for it rather than pretend otherwise. Whether we come over the Verrazzano or up from the ferry, it is the one borough where we book a wide arrival window and hold the rest of the day loosely. Once we are there, though, it is the easiest kind of visit we do.

Detached houses change the pace

Most visits here are in one- and two-family houses with driveways and full-size kitchens. There is room to set up properly, daylight from more than one direction, and no stairwell to negotiate on the way in. Those are the practical reasons a comb-out tends to go smoothly on the island.

The island is longer than it looks

St. George to Tottenville is a drive in its own right. South Shore appointments are usually booked early or late in the day so that the travel sits at one end rather than in the middle of your afternoon, and we would rather tell you that plainly than quote an arrival time we cannot keep.

North Shore, Mid-Island, South Shore — all of it. The list above is simply where we go most often. Call (347) 901-5247 to confirm a time.

What Staten Island families tell us

I assumed Staten Island would mean an upcharge or a polite no. They came the next morning, no fuss about the trip.
Nicole R., St. George
My wife found lice on our daughter on a Sunday night. By Monday afternoon it was handled, and they called later that week to check on us.
Frank D., New Dorp
Calm, thorough, and honest about which of the kids didn't need treating.
Gina C., Great Kills

What parents tell us afterward

They came the same evening I called, checked all three kids, and only one needed treatment. No lecture, no upsell — just calm, clear help.
Sarah M., Park Slope, Brooklyn
Our school sent my son home on a Friday. By Saturday morning he'd been treated, with paperwork the nurse accepted on Monday.
Michael R., Upper West Side, Manhattan
I'd already tried two drugstore kits before giving up and calling. One visit and the follow-up recheck, and we've been clear since.
