Head lice removal at home in Brooklyn

We come to you with combs, lamps, and everything else the visit needs. Most families are done in a single appointment, with a free recheck within ten days.

Same-day visits are usually available — call (347) 901-5247 and we can often be there today.

A local practice

We know how lice moves through this city

Classrooms, sleepovers, camp buses. After years of home visits across the five boroughs, very little about an outbreak surprises us — and that calm tends to be contagious.

Schools and their paperwork

We've worked alongside dozens of schools and daycares over the years, so we know most re-entry policies and can send documentation the nurse will accept — often the same day as the visit.

Every kind of home

Walk-up in Astoria, brownstone in Park Slope, high-rise in Midtown — we bring everything with us, set up wherever the light is good, and leave the kitchen the way we found it.

Built around city schedules

Small apartments, long commutes, siblings on different schedules. We arrive in plain clothes, work around nap times and homework, and keep the whole thing low-key.

A small practice, on purpose

We've been making home visits since 2020, and most new families still come to us the old way — one parent telling another it worked.

Where we go in Brooklyn

Brownstone stoops, third-floor walk-ups, garden apartments half a flight below the sidewalk, and the newer towers along the waterfront — Brooklyn hands us all of it in a single week. What actually changes between them is light and stairs. The parlor floor of a brownstone, with its tall front windows, is close to ideal. A garden apartment in February is why we carry our own lamp.

Stairs, stoops, and freight elevators

Four flights of a walk-up is a light load when the kit is combs, clips, and a lamp. In the newer waterfront buildings the only wrinkle is the opposite one: some ask that service visits book the freight elevator in advance, which takes a phone call from you rather than from us.

Where the light is

Railroad layouts in Bushwick and Bed-Stuy put the brightest room at one end of the apartment, so that is usually where we set up, even if it means carrying a chair through the flat. In a garden apartment we plan on supplying most of the light ourselves.

Parking is the honest problem

A weekday morning space in Park Slope or Cobble Hill is a gamble. If you have a driveway, or a block that reliably opens up, mention it when you book. Otherwise we build the search into the arrival window rather than into your appointment.

That list is habit, not a service area. Brooklyn is large and we cover all of it, Greenpoint down to Coney Island. Call (347) 901-5247 to confirm a time.

What Brooklyn families tell us

Twins, both scratching. I called at nine and someone was at our door after lunch. She checked all four of us and only the girls needed treatment.
Nadia H., Ditmas Park
No fumes, no chemicals — a stainless comb, conditioner, and a lot of patience. My son watched cartoons the whole way through.
Chris O., Greenpoint
They came back ten days later to recheck, exactly as promised. Clear both times.
Simone W., Bed-Stuy

From our families

What parents tell us afterward

They came the same evening I called, checked all three kids, and only one needed treatment. No lecture, no upsell — just calm, clear help.
Sarah M., Park Slope, Brooklyn
Our school sent my son home on a Friday. By Saturday morning he'd been treated, with paperwork the nurse accepted on Monday.
Michael R., Upper West Side, Manhattan
I'd already tried two drugstore kits before giving up and calling. One visit and the follow-up recheck, and we've been clear since.
